This year, we’re launching a limited run of experimental alpine packs, each one hand-built to order, with a focus on weight, performance, and the demands of serious mountain use. These aren’t standard models, but purpose-built systems tuned specifically to your objectives.

Minimal by Design

With Feeding the Rat Expeditions in Aksai Chin, we proved what’s possible. Pack weights can be pushed far beyond conventional limits. Through strategic design and zero unnecessary features, we’re building essential-only systems that redefine what’s feasible in the mountains. Every 100 grams saved is 100 grams more food, fuel, or insulation, critical for self supported high altitude expeditions.

This isn’t about marginal gains. By shaving kilograms off traditional expedition packs, we aim to shift the logistics of what’s possible to climb.

Pricing

All packs are made to order and sized to your specific body dimensions. Pricing depends on volume, materials, and technical requirements. Here’s a rough guide:

• Summit or Minimal (20–40 liters): from $260

• Mid Range (50–70 liters): from $375

• Expedition (90+ liters): from $410

Note: These prices are indicative and will vary based on specific build requirements. Shipping is not included. Typical lead time is approximately 3 months from initial payment.

You bring the objectives and we handle the design. Each pack is a one-off build, tailored to you. Weight targets, capacity, support options, we model everything to deliver a radically optimised system.
